Rent Reasonableness Study

Rent Reasonableness Study2019-07-03T19:55:48-04:00

We are required by HUD to complete a “Rent Reasonableness” study for the Section 8 (HUD) program. This study is comprised of contacting Venango County landlords and requesting completion of a short form to gather data on rents charged for specific non-Hud subsidized rental units.

This information is then used to gauge whether the HUD units receiving assistance are being rented for an accurate price within our region.

We continually experience an issue reaching landlords in the outlying areas of Venango County such as Harrisville, Pleasantville, Polk, Cooperstown, Emlenton, etc.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our form especially if you own rental properties in areas outside the city limits of Oil City and Franklin. We greatly appreciate your participation and assistance in meeting our program requirements. Thank you.
